I'm Suzana, but my friends call me Suzy! I’m approx. 3 years old, 65 lbs, spayed, vaccinated, & beautiful! Tanzie's mom says she thinks I'm mixed with German Shepherd and Greyhound, but I have no clue. I do have a really special curly tail though - and I run SUPER fast!
I’m currently being fostered in Hampton, VA - meaning, I'm crashing with Tanzie while I wait for my new family to find me. I'm housebroken, love to eat, love toys and playtime, and love cuddles on the couch!
I need a patient family who is willing to help teach me rules and build my confidence. I take a few days to warm up to people, and especially longer with men. At first I grumbled at Tanzie's mom and dad, but after her mom sat outside for a few hours and slowly got closer to me, I started to trust her and eventually showed her my sign of friendship -- a handshake! Men still scare me a bit though - but I did give Tanzie's dad a handshake finally...it only took me about 3 weeks! LOL!
But please give me a chance. I have a super sweet, cuddly side that I only show when I feel safe and that I can trust you.
I get along GREAT with other dogs, but I'm not sure about kids, haven't been around any yet.
