BAMBI & DONNA

ADOPT US

Mother Donna and Bambi daughter arrived to the U.S.A. from Bosnia in January, originally having a home in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately they did not not adjust well with the owner's current pup, so they've been in Virginia with Tanzie until they find a home!

They can be adopted together or separate.  Bambi was born on Sarajevo's streets, and lived on the streets with Donna until she was about 6 months old. Our rescuer Selma and her husband took them both off the streets when they learned dogcatchers were coming. The two pups lived in a shelter for roughly 2 years before finally having the chance at a new life in the U.S.A.!

Donna is a lab mix, roughly 5 years old, and Bambi is a lab/GSD mix, about 3 years old. Both are spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations.

Both girls are house trained and do not chew/destroy items in a house when left alone. They are pretty lazy and love being on the couch or a bed. Donna is very active and playful, and loves toys!

Bambi is still skittish around loud noises and will need proper guidance and structure to build her confidence. She doesn't like to go outside at night, and is fearful of dogs she doesn't know. Donna is more confident and boisterous, sometimes upstaging Bambi. They get along extremely well, but Bambi definitely needs someone with experience to help her overcome her fears.

Will you give one, or both of these girls a "furever" home!?
