30 DAYS TO SAVE STRAYS
We have 30 days to move 80+ dogs from one of our rescuer's shelters before they're taken to the "public shelter," also known as "kill shelter" and "concentration camp for dogs." We're hoping we can move enough and maybe convince authorities to let it stay open, but we are preparing for the worst.
Roughly 6 weeks ago, our rescue partner in Bosnia was notified her shelter would be forced to shut down in 30 days, and her permit would be revoked. This is not due to her maintenance of the shelter but rather a result of the disheartening greed corruption found across Bosnia. If any dogs are found on her premises after the deadline, they will be inhumanely killed. Unfortunately, Bosnia does not enforce it's animal welfare laws, so animals face terrible fates in public shelters.
Because of our amazing supported, we were able to move 50 DOGS in those 6 weeks, and the authorities gracious granted us an extension through Jan. 15. We now have the remaining 36 dogs to move, and need your help!!!
Currently scheduled dogs will be pictured below with their fundraisers, or you can donate to our generic travel fundraiser.
We'll also need help scheduling transports, coordinating adoptions, and doing other logistical things. Email us if you'd like to help us!
We are a nonprofit under IRS code 501(c)(3), so donations are tax-deductible. Please consider saving one of these dogs.
ADOPT OR FOSTER
If you live in Europe, we need your help! Transporting these dogs to European countries is faster and cheaper than the USA or Canada, so that is where our focus is right now.

FIND A SHELTER
We are searching for shelters or foster-based rescues to help us find places for these dogs. Transporting these dogs to European countries is faster and cheaper than the USA or Canada, so that is where our focus is right now.
If you are able to contact various shelters and organizations in Europe and have success finding a place with room for our dogs, please email and let us know as soon as possible.
